Blowout and such

Well this weekend was a mix of emotions.... Thursday night - Hammy Blowout - drinks, flashy buttons, Ohio sucks chants...need I say more? hehe
Friday...one of my gf's from work left. We had a going away party, and of course at the end of the night we cried. We became close, and now I lose that :( That's going to be rough.... But on a happy note - I hope to be moving on soon :)

Saturday, spent time with my love, then more blowout. Let me tell you, next time we're at Whiskey when Augs is tending bar, he promised to let me put a comment up on the board!! Woo woo! I'll keep the comment a surprise for when you are there with, or when I take a pic :) He still can't figure out how to put my music up on that darned jukebox - i'll have to go around it i guess.

Today, I spent time at home chillin, celebratin gramm's 3/4 of a century bday!!! She's so cute, I love her :)

Keep your fingers crossed for me this week, as the decision is to be made. I hope I have some good news to share :)

Finally......Joyce and I were discussing big 3-0 birthday plans for our boys. Hers is all set, i'm trying to finalize Jeffs stuff. I was thinking whirlyball, but that can get expensive. What say you all to Laser Tag? (Thanks for the suggestion wifey :) ) Jeff's birthday is April 14, but we'd have to do it that weekend afterwards. that would make it the weekend of 18th, 19th? Lemme know if that works for you guys.... I'll call the place tomorrow.

It's the waiting that sux....

So it's been almost a week....and nothin. I guess it could either be good or bad; they did ask if I had any plans in the near future to expect to be out for an extended period of time, to which I said no (outside of my Vegas vacation), but they said it would be a few weeks til they made a decision. Seriously people? Hurry up!! Crazy I tell u, crazy! Other than that all is well. My dear Wisconsin friend, if you're reading this - i'm sorry about Brett :( As his woman, I think you should convince him he's not really tired - grab a Red Bull :)

Welcome back me

I know, I know it's been a while (hell it's been almost 2 months) Nothin new in my neck of the woods, well not yet maybe :) I'll keep you guys posted within the next few days re: my future. Don't get too excited, it's just work stuff. It's been same shtuff, different days. It kinda sux really, when there's nothing new going on in your life, you are forced to work in a place that likes to keep the lights off all because of a turd who gets migraines when lights are on and he has to work on his computer (but its ok to stay and play pinball under a 500 watt halogen bulb for a 1/2 hour or more a day), one of your co-workers is a complete tool who you have to compensate for, and hmm...theres more but I digress. Like I said....nothin new. I hope to share some positive news soon :) By the by, I think we should plan to hang soon perhaps do a mini outing, perhaps some whirly ball somewheres. We haven't done that as a group yet :) It can be boys vs. girls, make it challenging, perhaps do it blindfolded haha
I hope all is well with y'all, and I'll try to update much sooner again. I promise I won't wait 2months. And if I do, i'll buy a round at Whiskey...

New Years Eve Bash!

As usual, the Pupptran klan had a blast at NYE '07. We ate, laughed, drank, partied, danced our way into '08. It was a good time had by all. I'm glad I was able to usher a new year with my friends. You guys are the best - love ya!
For all that were not able to attend, your presence was missed, and we hope to entertain ya going into '09.

Ok - so here is the un-official entree list for tonight (I want to hear no complaints)
Veggies/cheese trays
Kasia's famous meatballs
Southwestern chicken (just a fancy name for chicken breasts with melted cheese and sauteed onions/peppers atop)
(I'm still debating on the spaghetti - its a definite possibility)
garlic mashed potatoes
Potato salad
Chips, Tortilla chips, salsas
I realized that I have no sweets (OMG!!!!!!!!!) If anyone wants to bring anything sweet, just bring it, if not i'll have to stop by later for something, somewhere.

I hope its enough food for everyone. For all those that I won't have the pleasure of cooking for or seeing, I wish you a fantastic, Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year!!!!!!! Be safe - lookin forward to '08!!!!! Woo Woo :)

So this is Christmas.....

So Christmas came and went. All the hustle, bustle, holiday shopping, crazy parking lot drivers, all drawing to a close. Whew....another year survived! And now....a new year - seriously, crazy. Ah well...no use in complaining. I hope everyone had a fantabulous holiday season, and will join us for a New Year's get together. I am working out the meal plan as we speak (meatballs, some sort of chicken, salads, snacks, etc oh yea and the booze) Nothin new in my neck o the woods, hence the lack of posting - sorry y'all maybe i'll come up with something more creative soon. I've been in one of those states lately, you know kinda like Utah - not much goin on. I don't know where my camera is either, so I can't find any pics to post... which sux. But, I soon hope to find it before NYE. You know how we all like to get our drink on!
Perhaps i'll come to soon enough - I mean I have a couple days before '08 begins.
If there are any suggestions on what you'd like to snack on, lemme know before I begin my Martha Stewarting.
