So i'm posting again, Eric, Shortie get back on the Wagon....

So me, Mrs. I don't post very often, apparently has alot to say (and I didn't promise this one post a day thing haha)
I've even tried being a bit more on the creative side, and playin with photoshop, something I haven't done in a while. It's kind of relaxing, in a drive you crazy cuz you can't get something the way you want it, kind of way.
Anyway....I write to cheer some of my folk up :)
Here are some things I've learned.....
Remember, when the world is smiling at you....it usually means you've got somethin on your face :)
If it looks like a chicken, smells like a chicken, clucks like a chicken....Mike won't eat it because it has bones!
I don't have wings or a sac...therefore, i'm not a wingMAN (that one's for you Shortie :) )
Screw Hooked on Phonics...buy a "My Word", you'll pick up spelling in no time!
Apparently, Amicci's can make you not fit into your favorite work suit! (Butt the diskounte at the Whiskee is fantasstick - chek it outt!)
I can be real fun after a bottle of wine - or make some crazy decisions....you call it ;)
You can pass out free one day gym trial passes ripped out of free mags in those Royal Oak bins, and get people to "Vote Blue!" - amazing - must go again during election time....haha
I can't speak German when ordering ice cream at Coldstone Creamery - they just don't understand....
I can't play my happy song on the jukebox, or i'll be put on the board :( (sad, sad, sad)
If you need to sell a house, have me walk through it, it'll be sold in no time :(

Hey Booboo.....how bout we grab a picanic basket....

Ok, so I must vent. Yesterday, while at our little watering hole, I met some new people. Setting up the situation: 2 guys (friends), in their at least late 30's, at the bar drinkin. So Guy 1 - visibly the more friendly of the 2, asks what kind of game we're playing. We were playing a number, and at that time, I believe it was a-hole. Guy 2 pipes in and said - you look intelligent... (Well I am smarter than the average bear) (I knew something else was going to spew out of his mouth shortly at this point) why would you play a game like that? Umm ok, just because i'm intelligent doesn't mean I can't play card games - or does it? What's wrong with a-hole, I thought to myself?? So I asked him, what's that got to do with the price of tea in China? Turns out dude is a little bitter about a relationship - suck it up my man - it happens, move on! Then we talk about what we do, and once again Guy 1 - normal - i'm a such and such at the DIA. I said cool, i'm an analyst for a big co. Guy 2 then says, well I'm better than you (or something to that effect - at this point I was getting ticked with him) I'm like oh yea? What do you do? Please tell me, i'm ALL ears....(noting sarcasm) He said something, and I responded with oh well that's great, because my job doesn't define who I am - i'm also a writer, poet, and am getting into an online business start-up. Put that in your pipe n smoke it Troll! So then.... (please make it stop) he perks up because I mention I write (oh but just a bit - think of the guy that used to do the Dry Eyes commercial - yea that would be him but in a 5'0" body) He's in a band and blah blah what do I write? Finally...... my savior bartender comes to the rescue after putting ice down my pants(Ummm like 3 minutes too late) haha
Soooo.... a little hint to the bitter - I know it hurts, trust me I know, but seriously don't make yourself look like a big jerk to others. You never know who're you're going to meet, and subsequently turn off. Better luck next time!

Haha so I decided to come home and listen to some nostalgic music (by nostalgic I mean way back like college haha) I used to love this song, until today, when I heard that the dude wrote it after his gf decided to tell him she was a lesbo. Haha, so Michael, did you write a song when your wife told you she was already married - to a hot broad no less? haha

Funk n Fireworks

So I haven't been in the greatest of moods lately...sorry. It's just there's alot of stuff i've been dealin with lately, and I just am emotionally drained. I really need to get away, if not on a vacay then from reality....and both won't happen. haha
I'm not sure how much longer that'll last, God I hope not very long, but i'll try to get back to me. Meanwhile, i'm listening to depressing songs (my fave Jimmy eat world songs) and love songs, and whatever I happen to rotate in the cd player. (Yes, you read that correctly, I still own a cd player, no Ipod here y'all)

So yesterday, was the big bbq/fireworks grill at the Clawson residence of my two favorite Hung-Flips! I came in with a funky mood (hence the title of the post haha) but towards the end of the night, I got to laugh, which I needed- thank you! In honor of the night, I shall post a short picture story. Try to follow along haha.....

So we chill and talk and get shocked by Jay's game - which is not fun at all! As the night progresses, it becomes much more animated haha. We finally get up and start walkin down to 14 mile...oh the fun begins haha
Jen falls and goes boom, Mike and his "magic fingers", then we find a spot to sit... Continuing....

As the fireworks ended we strolled back to the Pupptrans, lost a flip flop and almost a Jen hehe, but made it safe :) Then for a game and off to bed.

How I got a 4.0

It was 90% right brain thinking, and 10% pure luck haha! As a follow up to a conversation I had the other day, I post this video - it has nothing to do with what I talked about, but it's funny none-the-less.

Oh how time flies....

So its been almost a week and a half at the new place, and I think i'm going to like it. I've been doing online training like mad, and am beginning to slowly get my feet wet with the processes i'll be responsible for. I feel good things :) I just have to bust my butt, and get to where I want to be in the next few years - watch out world!

Once things settle down, i'm gonna start checkin out homes and such again. I think movin a little closer to work would be smart now with the crazy gas prices. I guess it's about time I start growin up eh?

Not much of anything else going on, fireworks season has started and I'm all giddy :) I love fireworks! I have a couple of pics to post from Joyces bday celebration - i'll get to those sometime....soon :)

I'll post again soon when I feel more awake - right now i'm gonna take example of my friends down under, and relax.

Haha I didn't (and for those that know me - I wouldn't cuz pot always gives me a headache), but hey sometimes you need somethin to mellow you out.

I finished my career at Team Detroit yesterday. It was sad, yes, because i've made some lasting relationships, but happy because I get to further my career elsewhere. And that somewhere else actually shows promise in terms of a career path, and assistance to get you where you want to go - crazy huh?

So Monday I start my new position, bright and early! Yay, for the 30 minute trek to work! My gut tells me this is a good thing, my mind tells me that I need to look for a house closer haha

Right now i'm just over joyed, talk to me after a couple weeks to see if i'm still in a good mood :)

Other than that, i've got 4 days to just relax and enjoy the weather. Perhaps i'll make another trip to see Petosky the Giraffe.

Has anyone else ever connected those two dots? I mean honestly, giraffes look like giant petosky stones! Perhaps giraffe's are native to Upper Lower Peninsula - I think Michael should write a paper on that :)
