Good Ole fashioned Cooter bustin' time.....

So Mike had noticed that I hadn't posted in a while. It's usually because I have nothing to blog about. I'm usually most tranquil nowadays. However, I did have a gay old time on Saturday. So I guess I could write about that; so starts the tale.....
We started the morn with a trip to the Meadowbrook Wine & Food Fest (The wife, her husband, the bf and I) Tried a bunch of wines in the lovely 90 degree sunshine. I must say....I love wine...seriously!! If I had $$ I'd move and buy a vineyard and make wine and drink myself silly most days..... Ah to dream :)
So anywhoo, moving on....later that night I had a former co-workers bachelorette party. We started the night out at Coyote Joe's in Shelby Twp. So the Cowgirl I am, saw the mechanical bull, and all I could think of was....I wanna ride!!!
Here I am dressed in PINK - yes you heard me correctly, I was dressed in the putrid of colors that I dislike most (because we were all asked to wear something pink). Not only was I dressed in pink, but a short mini dress pink. So, obviously, that means I had to ride the bull right?
After not too much arm twisting ("Kasia you have to do it! me: "ok" ;) ) I pay my due and get on the mechanical bastard, not expecting anything. At this point, i've already seen 4 riders get on, and either be tossed off or fall off. Except Elisa, she kinda got off (due to back issues)
So I get on, carefully as to not expose myself, and grab on. The mother of the bride (hilarious) comes and tells me the secret to riding (grab the reign with my dominant hand - from the bottom, hold my other arm in the air for balance and ride pretendin like i'm f*n)
Ok easy enough right? Alright... so the bull starts to move (Mind you I had wine earlier and some shots before I got on) The bull spins in a circle and gyrates all over the place. Starts easy, then oh boy starts gyrating faster and faster, and spinning, holy crap all I could think about was $hit my boobs are gonna fall out so i'll flash everyone and then i'm gonna fall off and get an indecent exposure ticket! So here I am flailing around, trying to not balance myself but keep myself in my dress, and think holy crap not only will I fall but I will have a black and blue cooter from all the abuse i'm takin. I mean seriously - who woulda thought it woulda given a good vahj pounding! So the girls are hootin and hollerin since i've been able to stay on for so long, and here the guy goes crankin the damn thing higher? Seriously??? At this point, I would have chucked something at his head had my "balance" arm not been grabbing on the f*n steer head and the other arm pullin the reign. Too much spinning for me at this point, and with my cooch beggin for mercy, I decide to let go and slip off the bucking bronco. I managed to slip off, not fall of, not get tossed off, and walk away. I was gettin woo hoos and high fives all over the place.
I had to go sit down, have some water and make my head focus - oh the spinning!
How men do it - I have no idea? I would think they would need a good ice bucket later!
But that was my fun story of the night... hope it made you laugh... I know I enjoyed myself. Until the next day and the day after when my loins hurt so bad it was rough to walk hahaha

So it's been uneventful in my neck o da woods. Same ole, same ole. Which is good, I guess.
Job is going well, mood has been ok. Nothing new to talk about. Saturday cleaned up and such and I don't know why I couldn't get this scene from Pippi out of my head. I guess i've always wanted to do that - you know hide roller skates in fake brushes and skate around the floors pretending to clean up.... ah 1988 I was 6 :), i'm going to dig that film up and watch it.

Then Sunday, had a lil dance party in the living room listening to songs from back in the 00-04
Great...now i'm stuck watchin old shows, Punky, Small Wonder, Out of this World.... oh what next....

Oh what a weekend....

So yes, now I have officially joined the drunk dancers club. There is official video (thank you Mike) of me dancing to the Apache song. haha can't we find another dance to drunk dance to - perhaps the tootsie roll, or a hustle? lol
Recap of Saturday night, Get to the wifey's to help a lil earlier, J-oyce had everything under control!
Then I got dressed in my hula outfit Yes it was a complete get up with skirt, floral bikini top, leis, the whole kit and kaboodle. Then I began to drink. Screw the food, I wanted drinks haha
Needless to say I think I was good and buzzed by oh 6:30 or 7pm (meanwhile party started at 5)
Food - phenomenal, Tropical drinks galore (oh u betcha I still have some mix....and i'm drinkin one now haha)
As the night went on, I remember my hat getting sooo heavy, I had to take it off ( I think I took it off haha)
We learned some happy news (yay!!!!!) and we can't wait for more crazy fun in the future!
We ended the night with a rousing game of Cranium - it really is more fun when you're drinking I think!
Then by midnight, when my high was simmerin down, I had to drive home. O yea, in my hawaiian get up. And I forgot my gas tank was less than 1/8 full. Sooo, I pull my drinkin self into a gas station, and low and behold, a cop at the same station. So I kept my cool, got out of my car in my outfit (floral bracelets and anklets and all) and start tankin up, praying that he won't come over to me and see whats goin on. haha The stupid pump took forever....pump, pump STOP pump pump pump STOP - damn the old pumps....etc.!! haha I got back in my car and hightailed it outta Clawson for the night, phew just a weird look :)

Damn the drill....

You know, the pure agonizing sound of the drill just about makes one want to leave the dentist all together and never come back!!! Urghh..... So...today I ventured to see the den-den cuz i was "uncomfortable" damn tooth! Not only did I have to leave work early AND find out I have to make up my hours (crock), but I also ache

What I didn't bargain for, was a deep cavity, the damn drill, like 4-5 shots of novacaine (in my cheek oh yeah and in my upper palette - yea not fun) and nitrous. Let me tell you, the nitrous was the best part. That $hit puts you to ease, they were surprised tho, how quickly I bounced up after my "procedure" after my gassing haha I'm tellin ya, if 3/4 shots of novacaine don't work, yea a little gas, won't stop me. I'm resilient, thats cuz i'm a tough, stubborn Polish broad. Goes to show ya, that even my teeth and muscles are stubborn haha (I'm sorry for all that have to deal with me - it's how it is yo!)
So obviously today wasn't an all together "great" day, I need a happy day, soon please!!! Maybe tomorrow, when oh yea i'll actually be able to eat something, because my jaw/and cheek muscles won't hurt. Seriously, i'm sitting here trying to eat a bowl of oatmeal. Mind you, it's now cold, and just trying to get a spoon in my mouth sucks. Seriously - a spoon!!! Not having food is taunting me, this is a cruel, sick, twisted joke!
Can't eat, can't laugh, I can drink (oh yes not cold or hot things as to not upset it) so mmmm I like tepid/warm water and my favorite mango ice tea not chilled. Sounds fun.
And news that I may have to get wisdom teeth pulled - o yea joy! Suck it dentists, I'd rather gnaw off my own leg if I couldn't even food for days! Theres only so much soup and jello one can take!

Enough with my ranting - I'm gonna go lay down. I hope to feel better by the morn. Cross your fingers all :(

I totally think I have a "man crush" (is there a reciprocal "girl crush"?) on Deb Talan - I absolutely love her voice and songs. I can't find her cd's anywhere through the major places (best buy, circuit city, fye) so i think i'm going to order her stuff online. Perhaps ITunes has it, need to check.

Connor's Bday

Happy 34th Bday Connor!!! haha

So we went out last night to celebrate a birfday - I can't believe Rock's already 24, man that must mean.... i'm only 4 years away from the 3-0. Might as well make the rest of my twenties count.....

Anywhoo, I don't have anything I'd like to share right now. No thoughts. I'm over-stuffed, ready for a drink, and we're still havin cake....urghh.... yay for bdays :)
