NYE menu

Ok - so here is the un-official entree list for tonight (I want to hear no complaints)
Veggies/cheese trays
Kasia's famous meatballs
Southwestern chicken (just a fancy name for chicken breasts with melted cheese and sauteed onions/peppers atop)
(I'm still debating on the spaghetti - its a definite possibility)
garlic mashed potatoes
Potato salad
Chips, Tortilla chips, salsas
I realized that I have no sweets (OMG!!!!!!!!!) If anyone wants to bring anything sweet, just bring it, if not i'll have to stop by later for something, somewhere.

I hope its enough food for everyone. For all those that I won't have the pleasure of cooking for or seeing, I wish you a fantastic, Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year!!!!!!! Be safe - lookin forward to '08!!!!! Woo Woo :)

So this is Christmas.....

So Christmas came and went. All the hustle, bustle, holiday shopping, crazy parking lot drivers, all drawing to a close. Whew....another year survived! And now....a new year - seriously, crazy. Ah well...no use in complaining. I hope everyone had a fantabulous holiday season, and will join us for a New Year's get together. I am working out the meal plan as we speak (meatballs, some sort of chicken, salads, snacks, etc oh yea and the booze) Nothin new in my neck o the woods, hence the lack of posting - sorry y'all maybe i'll come up with something more creative soon. I've been in one of those states lately, you know kinda like Utah - not much goin on. I don't know where my camera is either, so I can't find any pics to post... which sux. But, I soon hope to find it before NYE. You know how we all like to get our drink on!
Perhaps i'll come to soon enough - I mean I have a couple days before '08 begins.
If there are any suggestions on what you'd like to snack on, lemme know before I begin my Martha Stewarting.
Later Gators!

Ohhh another Whiskey Night....

Ok so it's been a while....
But it's time for another story. Yay!!!
So it was Pam's first time to the good ole Whiskey - no longer a virgin WooWoo! We helped Auggie celebrate his 1 year anniversary - Congrats Auggie - keep those shots a flowin! I hope she had fun - I know I did :)
She was able to enjoy our local fine staples which included Main Street, Cafe 1923, and last but not least:

Hey Mikey - she likes it!!! :)

We had some drinks, some poured by:

and others poured by some sexy new bartendress in training haha

We shared some laughs, got some shirts and some tramp/nip stamps (that were applied with beer and not water as directions said - screw directions!), drank beers and mysterious ecto-cooleresque shots, and listened to live music. It was a good night :)
We tried taking a group photo...but as the night went on and the drinks kept coming...we missed a few peeps as seen:

As usual there were appearances of
and

Twas a good night - the night before turkey day. We welcome you all to future outings, and if you don't come...well... you'll just have to deal with the wrath of
and
Happy Turkey Day to all - and happy bargain hunting tomorrow!!!!

Jumpin Jehosophats Robin - time's a flyin by!

I can't believe its already Nov. 7th!!!
It's only 2(ish) weeks til Thanksgiving and 6 weeks or so til Christmas - crazy - and then - a New Year!!!!! Can you believe it???? I can not - what the hell - seriously - we gotta slow this down. I'm already 25 and I can't remember the last couple years, it's a blur, I was just in HS! Hell in the ancient world, I would be a goner - washed up, 300 years old, barren, unwanted, tossed away, dried up - you know - you get it - urghh save me from my thoughts :(
My point is, I don't really have a point. Wait, I think I did.... time is moving by way too quick. I see all these kids growing up, not realizing, i'm not getting younger myself. Maybe one day i'll be married to J-oyce (oops freudian slip) married like J-oyce hehe :)
Wouldn't it be fun if we got to a point in our lives, and then poof - we start going backwards? I mean I wouldn't wanna go all the way back, but it might be fun. Celebrating things backwards, for example receptions first then weddings, then the prep. Hmmm..... Perhaps if I calibrate a way into another dimension.....
Anywhoo... in the meantime....I get to look forward to thanksgiving and crazy shopping the day afterward :) Yay - i'm already studying my deals and the places where I could get the most bang for my buck. I'm one of those crazies and yes I like it :)
Then another wedding, then Christmas. Before Christmas, another party..... hang on to more details. Tryin to finalize a day when the hall is available, and going from there. Hold on tight til invites go out :)

Wedded Bliss....Part 1...

What? Today is the day? Shit Dawwwwg

But of course sweetie.... do you think I would look like this on any other occassion?

Enter Pam....I don't want to hear any of it!...sings "Apologize" to herself

It'll be ok cuz "We're going to the chapel and we're gonna get married...."

Say it ain't sooo.....

I guess it is soooo :(
Ok now.....really? Stop..... Consummate it later ;)

I'm not losing a girlfriend, i'm gaining a husband :-P

Well hello my dearest readers! So the day has come and gone and I am proud to announce that my wifey (only recognized in a few states - blasted!) has officially tied the knot with Michael! It is with mixed emotions I write this post....as I love those two wacky warblers (see Mike - I used a bird term). I am super excited that we've all finally gotten to that altar, but i'm sad that Joyce is no longer a fair maiden :( She's a MRS. now :( Sigh..... Happy thoughts....happy thoughts :)

The bride was stunning :), the groom....well.....he was umm.....hmmmm whats the word to use...... ahh yes handsome and glowing with excitement as he patiently watched as his fiance walked down that aisle to finally become his wife :) (see thought I was gonna say somethin dumb huh?) The ceremony itself was beautiful (I cried - damn all of you who had bets haha) And the reception....it goes without saying was off the hook!

I know i've said it countless times, but I love you guys! And Congratulations once again as you begin your married life together - Mr. & Mrs. Pupptran

Stay tuned for a recap as my next post will be another picture story haha.....

(In a Sean Connery voice) Hmmm...is it too late to back out now?

Listen to me man, get a hold of yourself!- she will make you one satisfied man

I likey......Oooooooh

See....I told you....she's already ready for you.....

After a time lapse..... you know how the story ends.... SATISFACTION!

I just want to say I love you guys and I wish you nothin but happiness. U guys are great! And see....those pics came in handy for something hehe :) I can't wait until friday!!!!

It's the final countdown.....

Well all.....the bachelorette party was a success!!! It was a fun filled night full of drinks and well you know ;) All had a good time. We saw things we haven't seen before (spiderman, spiderman...), we drank (next time i will truly stick to my rule with one type of drink all night long....), we laughed (oh did we laugh..Joyce where's elaine?) and then laughed some more (cuz we couldn't really stop haha), and then we finally fell asleep around 5:30 am. Yes - it was a loooong fun happy day!

As for details....no details for you!!! hahaha sorry those are for us gals only ;) We shall treasure those in our (new vocab word learned this weekend) spank bank haha

So now...we wait until FRIDAY (4 days away!!!!) where Joyce gets to walk down that aisle at church to the guy up front and say "Sup baby, i'm Melellanie, and I do wanna get hizzitched fo shizzle"

The weekend theme - We've got DD's

No it doesn't stand for designated drivers - please thats what hotels are for :) It's the theme of the bachelorette party! It stands for dongs (politically speaking) and drinks. 2 things we'll have in/on/around us on Saturday Woo Woo! I can't believe it's J-oyce's last weekend as a free/single woman. (Not that she's really single - since she's had Mike for 3 years, or free really cuz no one is really free - that just sounds cheap .... anyway I digress) :( I'm gonna be sad now
It'll be our last time to show Joyce what kind of men she'll be missing once she ties the knot, gets hitched, the old ball and chain....
Top secret plans for a great night ..... oh I can't wait!!!!
This shall be fun for all :)
Let's toast to happiness, and good times with great people!
See you all on Saturday!!!!

Rewind....step back....now what???

Ok....so being that i'm in a pensive mood, I hate these moods....I've been rewinding alot lately. How far??? I don't know, a year two, man has it already been 3, 7+, holy cow!!!
Anyway..there are things that happen...things that happen for no complete reason that we don't really care to think about at that present time in our lives. But now...you just go back and sometimes re-live decisions, or fights, or thoughts, or actions, or whatever it might be and wonder...why? Was it a good decision? bad? Was it the right one? Where would I be now had things happened differently.
Like had I never gone to WSU I would've never met Joyce and be getting ready to stand up in one of the most important days in her life. Had I not gone to WSU I would've also not meant certain individuals (you know who you are :) ) that I can't imagine not having in my life at this point.
Had I not gone to work where I am, I wouldn't have met someone I love with my entire being :)
It goes on and on, and I can list the countless many situations I've been faced with that made me think. But I won't, cuz God knows that would be an incredibly superfluous post.
I guess though, I'd like to say thank you...thank you to all those people i've met along the broken road (by chance, by a twist of fate, by running into them - i'm sorry for causing any bodily harm) Thanks for all your thoughts, and insights, and advice. Thank you for making me that much more insane :) I'm kidding. I've learned so many lessons, both good/bad, disappointing/rewarding, etc
I thank you all for traveling this dusty trail known as life with me :) I hope I haven't caused most of you many brain farts, or aneurisms. Had it not been for that horse.....

Favors $450, flowers $60ish, Seeing the laughing faces of Mi-oyce at the shower while putting on aprons..priceless

So another shower down....Yea it was good (at least I hope) I thought so, but then again I did have like 4 mimosas and a spiked punch or two. :) The hall was pretty, the food was great, the desserts kicked ass (Joyce I love your moms cooking!!) The games were funny, I need those pics to be up :) I only have a couple. I am looking forward to the wedding next month. I can't believe my little Joycey is getting married. Man time flies.... I hope everyone enjoyed themselves!! I know the boys enjoyed getting felt up hehe.... Speaking of felt up.....bachelorette party countdown y'all less than 30 days....Oh YEAAAAA! Bring cameras i'm sure there will be plenty of fun pics .... Once I get some pics downloaded from the shower, i'll put em up. :)

I made Joyce a veil :)

Yes I am a mini Martha Stewart. Is it because i'm a type A personality? No (but that I am) Is it because of insider trading?? Haha I can't trade for the life of me. It's because of my talent for making veils out of tulle and ribbons and such at Joyce's #1 shower in Burton. I surprised even myself - wait til you guys see it - she'll bring it to shower #2 and then to the bachelorette party :) It's purty. (unless I snag a pic of it first, then it'll be up here)

The shower was fun, food was good (until I started getting bloated but its my own fault - sometimes I'm a piggy) dessert was yummy, and the drive and times spent with the J-oyce and Shortie are good times. The shopping - oy - let's not go there :-P I can't wait for my shower, I want home gifts too hehe. It's too bad you can only have bridal showers once huh, maybe you can do anniversary showers??? Hmmm.....

I can't wait to get the favors in (they're sooo cute)...i'm so excited about the shower (can u tell?)....like it's my own!!! Well it kinda is, Mike is only a figure-head until MI changes its laws hehe

I hope everyone has had a good weekend and i'll smell ya later!

Perhaps a home???

Cross your fingers guys - there's 2 homes out there right now that I am really interested in. I just hope to finally get one, ya know?? One's in Mike's old hood (no not Genessee - althought Joyce asked me if I wanted to live there driving through - i'm not that country y'all :) ) it's in Berkley. The other is in Centerline. I want to see the Berkley one asap, because I don't want to put in an offer w/out seein it first. But it looks cool, and I'm thinking resale value in the next few years too!!! Anywhoo i'll keep you posted

So begins another fantasy season....

Y'all watch out now, I will be kicking major @ss this season. (Both on and off the field....watch out Linn - I'm comin' for ya...you took a number of my playas) The evening started at 1923 where the smack talk just started a brewin', then went drinkin at Whisky. It was an enjoyable evening! Especially the drinks and a wonderful game of asshole. And that cute, but all too pudgy dog hung around all night. Note to self...perhaps we get fall colored jello shots for bridal shower favors.... Yummy we can do oranges, reds, greens.... I'm likin this idea. What goes good with jello shot favors??? Suggestions please :)

So it's like that huh?

So becasue I wear clothes that are both fashionable and comfortable (the clothes of today) I get branded that I am wearing maternity clothes - by of course some of the species with the schlong!!!! How rude!!!!!

Piss on you!

Would you rather I wear skin tight, pleather, or other such clothes to my professional environment??? I think not!!!!!

I would change that corny presidential music too, perhaps do a ditty WWE style...

I think i'm going to throw my name into the political arena. I mean if Mitt, Hillary, Obama, and McCain can do it....Hell I can do it too. My name is just as odd and it would be fun to hear people pronounce (or mis-pronounce) it.
I think its about time that people jumped on the Blue wagon. With Joyce's help, and spreading of our Blue message again in Royal Oak, we can definitely spur up some support. One of my first decisions as president would be (Doesn't that sound superific - Pres. Kasia? - rolls off the tongue like butta) to make everyday humpday! How fun would that be - and it would be a requirement to leave work early and enjoy the hump. (Do the lyrics "do the humpty hump" resound as I speak - well they do in my mind) And that would be the muzak playing in the background in all elevators everywhere. (well for the morning anyway) If you have any other great ideas to think about for me, lemme know, drop me a line! I'd love to chat with you, pose for cheesy photo-ops, hug little babies, maybe a lil rally here and there???

I'm a catch you some goood thoughts....

Welcome into my life ---- buckle up now kids, and grab a fifth it may be a while.....

Well, I have finally stepped into the new millenium. If only I could part from my cd player, and embrace those aeiou pods..... gimme some time folks. (By the way, why I pod? were all other vowels taken? What about consonants????)
I've entered this new world of blogging, yes scary, but captivating as well. Please take pity on my virgin-ness to this, it will take some time for me to really acquiant myself with this crazy thing. I hope to mesmorize you all with my unique perspective on life, perhaps if you're lucky venture into knowing a little bit of ..... the real me (insert twilight zone music here)
